      Hier ist mein Cherokee 2.2 Limited !
      Ich will auf Englisch schreiben, so viel einfacher fur mich... und Toy kann ubersetzen ;)

      The new engine has an amazing amount of torque and very limited turbolag (especially in "sport" mode on selecterrain). The car is new so I did not push it too much, but you feel you have plenty of power. The ZF9 gear is perfect : no hiccups or noises. I appreciate the confortable suspensions especially since there is almost no "rolling" feeling even when driving on a road with plenty of sharp curves. The handling is really excellent and even when parking in tight spots I have no issue despite the size (especially width) of the car (I did not take the advanced tech pack). The ventilation function on the front seats is very pleasant with 30+ temperatures like yesterday. The leather is confortable though a bit less than the Poltrona Frau full leather on most recent Alfas. The stitching on the dashboard is very elegant.

      I was just a bit sad that the Uconnect still is not Live allowing for my iphone to act as a wifi router. Air co is very powerful, almost too much even when you limit the air flow. The luggage space in the trunk is really limited when the back seats are pushed back to the maximum - what is astonishing is that there is a lot of wasted space above the full size spare tire.

      Overall, very happy and looking forward to long highway travel (super confortable for sure) and then some light offroad in Bretagne next week. It is no trailhawk but it makes sandy/non-asphalted road feel like tarmac ;-))

      I pushed your post into the sub-Forum "Introducing my Cherokee". Would you please so kind and let us know if yours is really a 2016 or still a 2015? It is easy to find out. Just look at the last 8 digits of the VIN . Does is start with "FW" or "GW" ?

    • Dann grüße mal schön die Bretagne von mir. Wenn es klappt fahre ich im August auch noch mal hin. Mit Pleneuf-Val-André in der Nordbretagne (Côte d'Armor) haben wir eine Städtepartnerschaft (Jumelage/Sistercity) und wir sind immer gerne da. Auf Grund der Romane von Jean Luc Bannalec werden wir das nächste Mal aber auch die Südbretagne an der Atlantikküste besuchen. Die Bretagne ist immer eine Reise wert. Und ganz besonders natürlich mit einem Cruiser im Stile eines Jeep Cherokee KL. Bon voyage!

    • Klingt gut. Deckt sich mit meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen. Aber welche Abdeckung im Gepäcknetz meinst Du? Sicherlich die Abdeckung des Kofferraums bzw. Gepäckraums? Das Netz nimmt doch keinen Platz weg.

    • Volle Zustimmung. Wer lädt denn seinen Kofferraum so mit Gerümpel voll, dass einem alles entgegenfallen könnte? Und ansonsten muss man alles über dieses Netz heben. Macht für aufgeräumte deutsche Kofferräume m.E. wenig Sinn, es sei denn, man lebt in dem Auto. Ich denke aber, Marco hat etwas anderes gemeint, da das Netz (in der Tüte) ja nicht wirklich viel Platz (gaaanz unten) wegnimmt.

    • Ja ich meinte in meinem gebrochenem Deutsch mit Google Translate Hilfe ... , dass die Abdeckung des Kofferraum ist nutzlos , wenn Sie die Sitze nach vorne ziehen und Sie mit einem Loch unter haben... Und ich vergesse nicht das Metall auf der linken Seite , welche die Breite begrenzt erwähnen der Kofferraum (wie Kinderwagen meines jüngsten Sohnes )

    • Hey Marco, of course, the translation tools are not perfect. But I understand, that you mean the cover of the trunk.
      I think, it's a good solution for that. You are able to cover the gap between the seats back and the big cover, when you will use the soft coverparts to fix them on the seats. They are flexible enough, to slide the backseats fore and back without having a look through this gap. But it is also no problem, to fold the seats, because the fixing clips slip out without any damage.
