Subject:
The Body Control Module (BCM) on about 1,800 of the above vehicles may require the configuration to be restored in order to enable the instrument cluster to display the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank empty message. If the DEF tank is allowed empty, the customer may experience a no-start condition.



Repair:
Perform a restore vehicle configuration on the BCM to enable the DEF tank empty message in the instrument cluster.
